Hold on Tight as you learn to Write & Recite! Turn on your imagination and create crafty projects as you write about your favorite animals! This is an excellent opportunity for kiddos to improve their vocabulary, phonetics, speech, and penmanship, all while having so much fun. Before they know it, the kiddos will end up with their very own illustrated “Great Big Book of Animals!”
(Thursdays, 11:20 am – 12:20 pm); Grades 1-3
(Fridays, 10:10 am – 11:10 am); Grades Pre-K – K
This class is super exciting for beginner writers. We will learn about a different animal every class, fill in the blanks about that animal to complete interesting facts, and make cute crafts! Kiddos will also get a chance to dress up as an animal of their choice and act out small scenes. There’s actually a little story behind the name of this class. Mrs. Rachna did not like to write as a child. Anytime Mrs. Rachna’s mom placed a notebook with a “purple pencil” on the table, Mrs. Rachna knew to escape from there! That notebook and purple pencil meant it was writing time! 🙂 I truly enjoy writing, today, as it helps to formulate out-of-the-box ideas and to stay organized. Ixt is now time to discover the color of your powerful pencil!
