How well do you know your body? Feeling tired? Hungry? Aching? Sinuses? Being familiar with Human Anatomy is very important. Through fun hands-on activities, let’s grasp a better understanding of how and why our body does what it actually does. Take a closer look at different body systems as we dissect real frogs!
(Tuesdays, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
Students will learn about different body systems, their fascinating functions, and a few related medical terminology. There are two different activities we engage in this class, which is completely optional and therefore, not included in the class price. First, each student will have the option to dissect a real grass frog, which is quite intriguing for many and gives hands-on learning experience! Second, we will also go on an exciting field trip to the Tech Museum to get a deeper understanding and hands-on experience of various concepts learned in class!
